Graduation Ceremony for Graduates of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics

On July 20, the Tashkent Branch of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics held a ceremonial graduation event for graduates of its bachelor's and master's degree programs.

The occasion marked an important milestone in the lives of young people who successfully completed one of the most significant stages of their professional and personal development. In a festive atmosphere, university graduates received their diplomas and will soon join the ranks of qualified professionals in various fields of the country's economy, finance, management, and business.

By the Order of the Agency for State Assets Management of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Methodology for Evaluating the Effectiveness of Benefits and Preferences Granted to Business Entities in Relation to State-Owned Real Estate, developed by the Research Center for Problems of Privatization and State Assets Management, has been approved.

The report on the main results of activities for the first half of 2026, published by the Research Center for Privatization and State Asset Management under the Agency for Management of State Assets of the Republic of Uzbekistan, reflects the outcomes of the Center’s scientific, expert-analytical and educational activities.

Since the beginning of its activities, the Research Center for Privatization and State Asset Management has established close cooperation with professional public associations of the Republic, in particular with the Association of Insolvency Administrators of Uzbekistan.

On 1 July 2026, Rustam Turgunovich Nuraliyev, Head of Department at the Research Center for Privatization and State Asset Management, Candidate of Economic Sciences and Senior Research Fellow, was solemnly awarded the "Mehnat faxriysi" Badge of Honor by the Nuroniy Foundation.

On 30 June 2026, a meeting of the Scientific Laboratory for the Analysis and Modelling of the Development of Property and Market Relations was held at the Research Center for Privatization and State Asset Management.

On 30 June 2026, as part of the professional development seminar for judges on insolvency issues organized by the Higher School of Judges under the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ravshan Ismailovich Kayumov, PhD in Economics, Head of Department at the Research Center for Privatization and State Asset Management, delivered a lecture entitled "Participation of Insolvency Administrators in Court Proceedings on Insolvency Cases."

From 16 to 19 June 2026, at the invitation of the Central Eurasian Studies Society (CESS), Deputy Director of the Center, Professor Z. Ashurov, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics, participated in the CESS 2026 International Conference held at Nazarbayev University in Astana, Kazakhstan.

During the conference, Professor Z. Ashurov chaired the panel session "Corporate Governance and Sustainable Development in Central Asia" and delivered a presentation entitled "Corporate Governance Reforms in the Transformation of State-Owned Enterprises in Uzbekistan: Outcomes, Challenges, and Development Trends." He also took part in other academic and professional events organized within the framework of the conference.

The participation of the Center's representatives in this international conference is another testament to the strengthening of cooperation among scholars across the region aimed at promoting the development and resilience of the national economies of our countries.

Igor L. Butikov, Director of the Center for Research on Privatization and State Assets Management under the State Assets Management Agency, Doctor of Economics, Professor, has been included in the Panel of Arbitrators of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC).

Staff members of the Center for Research on Privatization and State Asset Management Problems joined the Final State Attestation Commission of the Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE) to conduct the final state attestation for the "Corporate Governance" program. In June 2026, they participated in the defense of undergraduate graduation qualification works and master's theses.
